Despite the split, she was still wearing her massive 8.5-carat green diamond ring and appeared makeup-free, giving off a somber look at the paparazzi as she walked on the sidewalk.
On May 2, nearly a week later, Ben Affleck was photographed in Los Angeles while taking his 12-year-old son, Samuel, to school. The “Gone Girl” actor appeared downcast, wearing a gray-and-white sweater paired with jeans and Nike sneakers. This public appearance came after news broke that J.Lo had filed for divorce from the Oscar winner, listing April 26 as the date of their split. It was revealed that the estranged couple did not have a prenuptial agreement, but Lopez requested that spousal support be waived for both parties.
While there were concerns about how the divorce would impact their five children, a source close to the situation shared that both Affleck’s children with Jennifer Garner and Lopez’s children with Marc Anthony are handling the situation well and are ready to move on.
